This lovely piece of German steel arrived in the shop covered in a good deal of rust.  We painstakingly cleaned, sanded and polished the blade to a mirror finish to preserve the deep tang stamps and maker's mark along with the "Reaper Guaranteed" blade etching flanked by wheat at the razor's heel and toe.

We've been holding onto this gold fleck scale for quite some time as we waited for the right project.  The matching scale broke and we took the opportunity to hand craft a new scale from black acrylic.  The razor is pinned using brass with large collar washers brought to a high mirror polish to match the aesthetic of the blade and glassy appearance of the vintage and new scale set.  A new white wedge was added keeping the look of this vintage German steel true to period. 

All razors arrive experly honed, sterilized and shave ready.  Happy shaving!
