Hand turned in cherry this one of a kind, bespoke shaving brush rests nicely in one's palm.  Boars hair, unlike badger does not retain much water by capillary action rather the hair absorbs the water. Stronger, thicker and less flexible, boar's hair is great for lathering harder shave soaps and works well for those who face lather.  

The knot measures 22mm and has a loft of 50mm with a fairly stiff backbone. The cherry handle measure 2 and 1/2 inches in length with an overall length of 4 and 5/8 inches from end to end.

All brush handles are sealed to prevent water from being absorbed into the wood grain and are hand polished.
